That does look like a lot of fun.

I came close to buying a ticket, but the horrors of the last time I paid to see Graham at the RAH came flooding back to me.

Did you watch the video? It all went a bit Damon at his most pretentious.

I was there in front of Gallagher, Albarn, Coxon, and Weller. The potential to give the crowd a night they'd never forget was in their hands and they went and delivered forty minutes of artsy bobbins.

But it was all for a good cause, so I shouldn't moan. I way also a bit miffed because the ticket said "Albarn and Coxon curated by Noel Gallagher", but the Blur guys' role turned out to be warm-up for a full High Flying Birds set.

Tender was the clear highlight of the night.

I can see how you wouldn't have been happy. I've just watched the video and I take it that it just continued like that. To be honest I would have felt the same, a good cause or not their role was to entertain the audience. It just says it all when Tender was the highlight, don't know about anyone else but after 3 minutes or so of that song, I'm singing come on come on just end it

I'm not going but this Beatles thing sounds like it might be a good night...

I agree with you there, it really looked like a pretentious load of arty farty cobblers but that's Damon for you. You should have gone to GC's acoustic show a couple of days later it was a really good evening.

Unless Matt Bellamy is on vocals wailing like he has been kicked in the goolies, The Beatles looks a much better bet. Does anyone know who's singing?
