Re: virtue signalling has taken over

FWIW I don't really condone milkshakes being chucked over anyone. It's not civil. I've not been celebrating Robinson being on the receiving end, I don't think it's funny or constructive. That being said I've long seen Robinson as an agitator, I think he's inflamed tensions, and much of the anger he'...

Re: virtue signalling has taken over

I haven't just jumped to conclusions. You've been banging on about how brilliant Trump is for years, and are seemingly Tommy Robinson's #1 fanboy. Agreed, I don't really know you at all. Perhaps you aren't a bigot, but from the viewpoint of someone who just wants everyone to get along and stop being...

Re: virtue signalling has taken over

'Virtue signalling' is the term bigots use when they encounter decency. I don't think it's pretending to be nice so much, it's more to do with not being enamoured by a narrow-minded populist viewpoint. You're talking as if you've seen the light, and anyone who's not hopping on this alt-right bandwag...

Re: Ukip candidate says it's OK to sexually abuse boys

I quite agree that it's shoddy reporting. I'm consistent though, I've been deriding the standard of journalism at The Mail for twenty years. I'm just not suddenly getting agitated about it because they've decided to set their sights on a Kipper for a change.

Old York, more likely.

I booked a place for MrsFogg last night after I'd been to the pub. I'd best book a place for myself too as the moaning's insufferable. :D

Re: Ukip candidate says it's OK to sexually abuse boys

I can't believe you're having a pop at The Daily Mail, it, perhaps more than any other publication, has promoted the UKIP agenda for as long as I can remember with bullshit and spin. The Mail managed to turn enough gullible old biddies into full-blown Farage-loving nationalistic xenophobes to allow ...

Re: What's going on with you, then?

Run like there's a hot woman ahead and an old bag right behind you. Well I finished somewhere between Nell McAndrew and Natalie Cassidy... I was pretty strong for the first 18 miles or so, but around that point I realised that walking is actually a lot less rigorous than running. I wasn't the only ...

That's a shame, but sounds wise. At least it gives me 12 months to organise a #TeamFogg cheerleading team at around mile 2!
Tomorrow's the day.

Probably best to be at Mile 1 than Mile 2. I'm not sure how far I'll get before I throw in the towel. :D

Re: i won't shoe off

I guess there comes a time in every man's life where it's time to face facts and accept the day has come where you can carry off a pair of shoes like that. When it's my turn in 25yrs or so I'll be proud too. I jest! FWIW I bought a tweed hat recently, it's not a world away from what Count Arthur Str...
