Re: Random YouTube Videos

Yeah, I was going to say something too.

Something like picturing Liam Gallagher moaning that "there's too many fookin' long words" in The Gruffalo.

I've heard this tune a bit on the radio this last week or two. Good, innit? Hollow Hand.

Re: The End of the F***ing World

(pretends to still own a record player :D ) I've got the Blur 21 box on vinyl and don't have a record player either. I'm rather enjoying this prog. I'm half way thru, it's gloriously dark and twisted. Sure, I'm not the target demographic, but It doesn't really feel like 'teen' tv, I think Gr...

Re: The End of the F***ing World

Yeah can't say that I'll be watching that. You are funny, Steve. It just tickles me that the person who registered GrahamCoxon.com could be so apathetic about a project of his. I reckon it'll be good telly, I got into Fresh Meat thanks to Implodium Implodes, that proved to be time well spent. Anywa...

Re: What's going on with you, then?

Yes, I've got St Neots in a few weeks, and Cambridge next spring. I was out in Cambridge last night. I went to see Steven Page (formerly of Barenaked Ladies) play a church of all places. He was great, but it didn't half make me feel old. 26yrs to the day previous I was in the Corn Exchange next door...

The 'The Sky Is Too High' opinions thread.

Let's work our way through the albums, one by one.

Dig it out, listen to it from end to end like it's the first time you've listened to it, and let us know what you think.

I'll get round to it myself too, honest.

Re: What's going on with you, then?

Sort of ok. I finished it in 2:08, which I think is alright given my starting point and total failure to take the training programme seriously. I can't say I enjoyed the last half much, I was running on empty at the end, and that finish line couldn't come soon enough. My wife did well too, finishing...

Re: Favourite Album

Hello & welcome Northen Monkey. :D

HIM is my favourite too. It is arguably the most immediate and least strange of all the solo albums, but there's nothing wrong with that.

If they were my work The Spinning Top is probaby the one I'd be most proud of.

Re: What's going on with you, then?

Thanks Bron. Wear an eye-catching costume so we'll see you on the telly. A pair of running testicles should do it! I've got to wear this, haven't I? http://www.fovargue.com/tee.jpg I might wear a giant nutsack over the top though, just to spare my blushes. I'm doing a half on Sunday. It's my first, ...
